If you hurt yourself while doing a fitness workout, a common thing is to go grab anti-inflammatories medecines> Most of the over-the counter anti-inflammatory contain non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), which help in reducing inflammation and relieving pain, but do not have any steroids.
These non-steroidal drugs can be found in various common over-the-counter anti-inflammatories, like naproxen, ibuprofen and aspirin. Despite their effective contribution towards inflammation reduction and pain relief, NSAIDs are also a cause behind the occurrence of various harmful side effects like kidney impairment and damage, gastrointestinal bleeding and heart stroke.
